Crude Oil Prices Hold Under $90 Per Barrel

Crude oil prices gained slightly Thursday on the New York Mercantile Exchange but remained less than $90 per barrel.

Crude prices, down 39 percent from their peak in July, gained 0.37 cents Wednesday to $89.32 per barrel. Heating oil prices fell 0.0132 cents to $2.4813 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline rose 0.0217 cents to $2.0515 per gallon. Natural gas prices gained 0.081 cents to $6.823 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.403 Thursday, down from Wednesday’s $3.447 a gallon, AAA said.
