Menzies JV Secures Airport Service Contracts in Hyderabad From BA

Menzies Aviation has announced that its joint venture company in Hyderabad, India, has been awarded cargo, passenger and ramp handling contracts by British Airways.
British Airways (BA) will commence operations to Hyderabad, its new destination in India, from December 7, 2008. This will be the second destination in India where BA has chosen the Menzies joint venture (JV) to be its handler.
Kamesh Peri, vice president of Menzies Aviation in India, said: "Menzies Aviation is developing a successful partnership with BA in India. BA has earlier chosen us to be their cargo handler in Bangalore and now with the start of their new operations to Hyderabad, have entrusted us with the responsibility of their complete ground handling requirements."
