Enbridge Energy Partners Declares Cash Distribution for Third Quarter 2008

Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: EEP) (the "Partnership") today declared a cash distribution of $0.99 per unit, payable on November 14, 2008 to unitholders of record on November 6, 2008.

The Partnership will release its third quarter results after market close on Thursday, October 30. The Partnership will also review its results and discuss its business outlook in an Internet presentation, beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, October 31.
