New York Life Retirement Plan Services Appoints New ERISA Consultant

New York Life Retirement Plan Services, a division of New York Life Investment Management, has appointed Lisa Scalia as the new second vice president and Employee Retirement Income Security Act consultant of the company.

New York Life has said that Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) expertise plays an integral role in its service model, allowing sponsors to benefit from proactive ERISA consulting.

With the addition of Ms Scalia, New York Life Retirement Plan Services grows its defined contribution and defined benefit consulting practice to a team of 16 professionals and their staffs. Ms Scalia reports to Jeff Bograd, director and managing ERISA consultant, and is based in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Prior to joining New York Life Retirement Plan Services, Ms Scalia was a senior manager in the pension division of American Economic Planning Group and a pension consultant with Merrill Lynch in Hopewell, New Jersey.
