October 15, 2008

MOSS BEACH, Calif., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ — Airline Ambassadors International (AAI), a humanitarian NGO founded by Nancy Rivard, announced today that Nana Patricia McPeak, Founder and CEO of NanaCea and Founder of The RicePatty Foundation, has been elected to the Board of Directors.

“We are so pleased to announce a partnership with Nana Patricia McPeak and The RicePatty Foundation and her newly appointed position as a Director of Airline Ambassadors. One of the mandates of Airline Ambassadors is meeting human needs for those that suffer from poverty and hunger. We are working with The RicePatty Foundation to provide nutritional feeding programs around the world,” said Nancy Rivard, founder of Airline Ambassadors.

“I am so happy to join forces with Nancy Rivard and her humanitarian relief organization, Airline Ambassadors, to realize a life long vision of making the world a better place by serving those in need. As the Founder of NutraCea, I had a vision many years ago to end world hunger. My late husband, Dan McPeak, who co-founded The RiceX Company with me, would be so happy that NutraCea/Ricex is producing these super-foods through technology and equipment that we developed to transform the world’s largest wasted food resource, rice bran, into a miraculous sustainable food that could nourish millions of people safely and economically. By combining our respective resources, Nancy and I are planning on making that vision a reality,” said Patty McPeak, CEO of NanaCea.
