Southwestern Energy Appoints New Senior Vice President

HOUSTON, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Southwestern Energy Company today announced the appointment of Jeffrey B. Sherrick as Senior Vice President - Exploitation of its subsidiaries, SEECO, Inc. and Southwestern Energy Production Company, effective today. Mr. Sherrick will be responsible for the company's North American oil and gas exploration and production business outside of the Fayetteville Shale. Previous to joining Southwestern, he has served in multiple operational and managerial roles at The Houston Exploration Company, El Paso Production Company, Enron Global Exploration and Production Inc., Enron Oil & Gas Company, and Tenneco Oil Company. Mr. Sherrick is a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
