Southwestern Energy Announces Key Executive Appointment

Southwestern Energy, an independent natural gas exploration and production company, has appointed Jeffrey Sherrick as the senior vice president of exploitation of its subsidiaries, SEECO and the Southwestern Energy Production Company.

Mr Sherrick will be responsible for the company’s North American oil and gas exploration and production business outside of the Fayetteville Shale.

Previous to joining Southwestern, he has served in multiple operational and managerial roles at The Houston Exploration Company, El Paso Production, Enron Global Exploration and Production, Enron Oil & Gas Company, and the Tenneco Oil Company.

Steve Mueller, president and COO of Southwestern Energy, said: “Jeff strengthens our executive management team and provides key leadership in our North American operations outside of our Fayetteville Shale project.
