Cadbury to Expand Production Facility in Turkey
UK-based confectionery firm Cadbury intends to expand its Kent Gida production facility in Turkey.
By expanding the plant, the company aims to increase production capacity. Today’s Zaman, a Turkish daily newspaper, cited company officials as saying that Kent Gida will be a key regional hub for Cadbury’s worldwide operations.
Cadbury purchased the Kent Gida facility in 2002. Since then, the British company has put in some $1 billion in the Kent Gida plant.
