Ryanair to Launch 11 New Services From Bologna
October 24, 2008
Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has announced that it will launch seven new international and four new domestic services for Bologna, Italy, from March 2009.
According to the airline, the 11 new routes will bring an additional 800,000 passengers to Bologna each year on its target to carry over two million passengers through Bologna to and from 25 destinations by 2012.
The airline claims that this growth is expected to sustain 2,000 local jobs and save passengers over E200 million annually, compared to the high fares and fuel surcharges presently levied by Italian airline Alitalia.
