United Airlines to Launch Non-Stop Service Between Washington and Dubai

United Airlines has announced that it will launch a daily non-stop service between Washington DC and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, effective October 26, 2008.

The airline will operate the combined passenger and cargo service between Washington and Dubai using a B777 aircraft. Sample fare between Washington and Dubai is $512 each way, based on required roundtrip purchase.

Kevin Knight, senior vice president of planning at United Airlines, said: "Dubai is one of the fastest growing tourist and commercial centers in the Middle East. This route answers customer demand for more convenient, non-stop service to the Middle East and strengthens our international network by connecting these important cities like never before."
