DTE Energy Offers Free Energy Efficiency Seminars for Small Businesses
DETROIT, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy will be conducting three free energy efficiency seminars in the Detroit area in November to help small businesses learn how to save money on their utility bills.
"Energy prices have risen since last year, and that's going to translate into higher utility bills this winter," said Larry Kaufman, energy efficiency specialist for DTE Energy. "These seminars will provide simple, practical information that will help small businesses learn how to conserve energy, and better manage their utility bills."
The seminars will discuss strategies and priorities for improving energy efficiency, and recommended improvements to insulation, windows, doors, foundations, entries and exits. The seminars also will review lighting options, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and renewable energy in the workplace. At each seminar, a drawing will be held for a free energy audit valued at $1,000.

The seminars will begin at 8 a.m. and last approximately three hours. A free continental breakfast will be served before each seminar starting at 7:30 a.m.
