British Airways Launches New Daily Service Between New York and London

British Airways has launched a new daily service between New York's John F Kennedy International Airport in the US and the London Gatwick Airport, UK.

The airline operates a Boeing 777 aircraft in each direction in a four-class seat configuration. British Airways will now fly 62 times each week from John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to London as the Gatwick flights will operate in additional to 55 flights to Heathrow.

Simon Smith, executive vice president of Americas at British Airways, said: "The new JFK-Gatwick flight will give our customers even more choice when flying between New York and London. Not only does British Airways already have an extensive schedule from both JFK and Newark to London Heathrow, but next year we plan to launch business-only flights between JFK and London City Airport."
