Nestle Toll House Cafe to Use BizLX.Com(TM), Edgeware Analytics’ Small Business Loan Exchange

October 28, 2008

Edgeware Analytics, Inc., provider of BizLX.com(TM), the Small Business Loan Exchange(TM), and Nestle Toll House Cafe announced today the launch of a private label franchise financing center serving Nestle Toll House Cafe franchisees. The center will initially provide more than 100 current franchisees and applicants direct access to more than 200 BizLX.com member banks for a customized experience when seeking business loans.

As an open but secure exchange that matches small business borrowers and lenders, Edgeware Analytics’ BizLX.com provides greater transparency, more accurate risk assessment and increased access to loan options, especially in the current credit environment. BizLX.com member banks use Edgeware’s proprietary ScoreEdge(TM) Small Business Credit Score to accurately pre-screen and evaluate loan applicants, while franchisors use the Small Business Loan Exchange to open up new lending opportunities for their franchisees.

“As one of the most recognized, in-demand brands in the business, we know that our franchisees depend on us to help them find the funding they need to build their businesses,” notes Ziad Dalal, Chief Executive Officer of Crest Foods’ Nestle Toll House Cafe. “Our branded Edgeware Analytics Small Business Loan Exchange helps us demonstrate to our franchisees that we are committed to their success, even in tough financial times.”

The Small Business Loan Exchange is a resource for franchisors, franchisees, business brokers, business borrowers, lenders from small community to major national banks, and secondary market financial institutions. All participants can also access Edgeware’s proprietary analytics and loan matching algorithms.

“Nestle Toll House Cafe is an industry leader, and we are pleased that they have selected our services in launching a franchisee financing center,” said Edgeware Analytics CEO Dan Shoham. “By giving banks better risk assessment technology and providing borrowers with a wider universe of loan possibilities, we are helping support small business growth, a critical element of American economic success now and in the future.”
