Comtech Mobile Wins $2.1 Million Orders Under IDIQ Contract From CECOM

Comtech Mobile Datacom, a subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications, has won orders totaling $2.1 million under its indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the US Army Communications Electronics Command.
According to the company, the orders are to support the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below - Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT) program, a battle command real-time situational awareness and control system.
The orders received by Comtech are satellite network and transceiver upgrades, and technical support for Comtech's aviation satellite data transceivers to support ongoing FBCB2 operations.
Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: "We are extremely pleased to receive these new orders from our Blue Force Tracking customer. These new orders are indicative of the vital roles our satellite network and transceiver technologies play in providing communications capabilities for this critical program. We look forward to our continued involvement in the FBCB2-BFT Program and other critical programs for the Department of Defense."
