SilkAir Launches Twice-Daily Flights to Kuala Lumpur

SilkAir, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has launched twice-daily flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The airline operates the new flights using an A320 aircraft. The new twice-daily flights, together with five daily flights by Singapore Airlines, increase the flight frequency between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur offered by the two carriers to seven daily flights.

From December 1, 2008, Singapore Airlines and SilkAir will operate four daily flights each between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, increasing flight frequency to eight daily flights. Together with flights operated by codeshare partner Malaysia Airlines, the three carriers will offer 15 daily flights between the cities.
