US Airways to Launch Daily Non-Stop Service Between Paris and Charlotte
US Airways has announced that it will launch daily seasonal non-stop service between Paris's Charles De Gaulle International Airport and its hub at Charlotte, North Carolina in the US.
The airline currently serves London's Gatwick Airport and Frankfurt International Airport from its Charlotte hub and also codeshares with Lufthansa on the Munich service from Charlotte. This non-stop service will be operated with Boeing 767 aircraft.
Doug Parker, chairman and CEO of US Airways, said: "We are thrilled to announce that Charlotte will once again have a third trans-Atlantic option on US Airways. With Charlotte-Paris service, our 2009 trans-Atlantic operation will number 27 daily flights serving 23 destinations."
