Republic Airways Reports October 2008 Traffic
Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for October 2008. The company generated 795.7 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 2.8% decrease over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 0.4%. Block hours were 58,110 in October 2008, a 7.8% decrease compared to October 2007. Load factor was 73.0% versus 74.8% in October 2007. A total of 1,570,408 passengers were carried during the month, a 1.2% increase over the same month last year.
