Amman-based airline Royal Jordanian has taken delivery of the second of four Airbus A319 aircraft contracted to be introduced into its fleet during 2008-09, in line with its aircraft modernization plan.

The new aircraft, belonging to the Airbus A320 family, will augment Royal Jordanian’s existing fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft assimilated in the fleet in the past two years.

The remaining two Airbus A319s are slated to join the Royal Jordanian fleet in February 2009 and March 2009.
