Ford Unveils New Ikon in India
Ford India has unveiled the new entry-level mid-size Ikon range, which is powered with a new advanced DuraTorq TDCi engine.
The company has introduced the 1.4-liter DuraTorq TDCi engine in the new Ikon to complement the current 1.3-liter petrol engine. The company claims that the DuraTorq TDCi powertrain delivers 68PS of power and 160Nm of peak torque.
Michael Boneham, president of Ford India, said: "The introduction of the latest generation 1.4-liter DuraTorq TDCi engine transforms the way the new Ikon drives, and at the same time builds on the current model's core strengths to deliver on customer wants, improved overall performance, better fuel efficiency and lower cost of ownership."
