Foster Wheeler’s Net Income Slips, but Order Backlog Remains Strong, an Industrial Info News Alert

Net income was down 1% from 3Q07, moving to $127.9 million from last year's $129.1 million. Operating revenues for the company were up 24% from 3Q07, at $1.7 billion, however. The company's order backlog is up almost $990 million from last year, standing at $7.26 billion.
