French clean energy company EDF Energies Nouvelles has reported consolidated revenues of E628.6 million for the first nine months of 2008, an increase of 121.8% compared to E283.4 million for the same period of 2007.
As of September 30, 2008, the group's installed capacity across all segments, stood at 1,829.8MW gross, compared to 1,442.7MW as of December 31, 2007.
Since the beginning of 2008, EDF Energies Nouvelles has commissioned 387MW in capacity, principally in Portugal, France, Greece and the UK.
Paris Mouratoglou, chairman of EDF Energies Nouvelles, said: "EDF Energies Nouvelles has posted further brisk growth over the first nine months of the year. The current financial crisis has affected the depth of the financing markets on both sides of the Atlantic. It is taking longer to arrange financing, and bank margins have increased.
"We are reiterating our 2008 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization target of at least E200 million and our net capacity target of over 4,000MW by year-end 2012."
