New Generation Biofuels’ CEO Featured in Latest Issue of Electric Perspectives

November 12, 2008

LAKE MARY, Fla., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — New Generation Biofuels Holdings, Inc. , a renewable fuels provider, today announced that Mr. David Gillespie, President & CEO, and Ms. Kim Johnson, President of eBarton LLC, co-authored an article titled ‘A Test of Fuel Switching with Biofuels’ that was recently published in the November/December 2008 issue of Electric Perspectives, a magazine for executives and managers in investor-owned utilities. The piece focused on the emergence of biofuels as a low cost, simple fuel switch for power utility companies in North America to achieve their Renewable Portfolio Standards. Biofuels represent a timely alternative to other more capital intensive renewable energy sources like wind or solar. As capital markets continue to be constrained, utilities may seek low capital biofuel solutions to meet their renewable requirements.

Mr. David Gillespie commented, “We are grateful to the EEI and the editorial staff at Electric Perspectives for publishing our piece on how making the switch to biofuels can provide EEI’s members with an attractive renewable solution. New Generation offers the perfect solution for utility companies seeking to achieve their Renewable Portfolio Standards in a timely fashion without the intensive capital requirements of other alternatives.”
