Initially, the airline will operate three daily roundtrip flights per weekday and two each on Saturday and Sunday. As of January 8, 2009, the full schedule of six daily weekday flights and added weekend service will begin. Porter Airlines is using a 70-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft to operate the new service.

Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines, said: "This is another milestone in Porter's development and we are pleased to bring our unique service to Chicago. This will change the travel experience between Toronto and Chicago, making it fast, convenient and simple."
