EVTN Announces a New Purchase Order, Confirming Their Expanding Global Market Presence
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: EVTN) announced today that the Company received a purchase order to deploy a 10,000 barrel per day (BPD) Voraxial(R) 4000 Separator. EVTN's Voraxial(R) Separator is deployed on an offshore oil platform near Trinidad for the important process of a separating the oil/water mixture ("produced water") that is typically produced by all oil wells. The deployment is a result of the recent marketing agreement EVTN signed with Southern Chemical.
Most oil wells produce at least 3 barrels of water for each barrel of oil extracted. EVTN's patented Voraxial(R) Separator is capable of performing this critical process of separating the oil/water mixtures with efficiencies regarding size, weight, energy consumption and expense that can be superior, by orders of magnitude to competitive equipment currently used in the oil industry.Oil/water separation represents a multi-billion dollar world market. The oil exploration & production industry is increasingly forced to find more efficient equipment for separation to allow them to recover usable oil and return clean water to the environment. The oil industry is under pressure from increasingly stringent environmental regulations regarding water purity and increasingly higher ratios of water to oil as producing wells mature.
Nowhere is this problem more compelling than on the thousands of offshore oil platforms. The space available on an oil platform represents some of the most expensive real estate in the world. If they try to maintain their level of oil extraction with increasing volumes of water to separate at higher levels of purity, they must add massive equipment to their limited platform space or turn to vastly more efficient separation technology. EVTN believes that the Voraxial(R) Separator represents the most advanced, high volume/high efficiency solution available to the oil industry. Its ability to provide high efficiency separation without any pressure loss allows the Voraxial to be used in multiple applications.
"This application is typical of the market opportunity for the Voraxial, which is the need to process and separate a large volume of liquids in an economical and efficient manner. The increased awareness of the Voraxial has resulted in more customers contacting us for both offshore and onshore applications. We are pleased with the quantity and quality of inquiries and projects we are now reviewing," said John A. DiBella, VP of EVTN.

Enviro Voraxial Technology's proprietary Voraxial(R) Separator is a continuous flow separator that simultaneously separates liquid/liquid, liquid/solid or liquid/liquid/solid mixtures at extremely high flow rates with a small footprint, low energy requirements and no pressure loss. The technological superiority of the Voraxial(R) Separator over conventional technologies is in its ability to produce a real-time, high "g" centrifugal force to yield a high-purity product or products at a volume of 3 gallons per minute to more than 10,000 gallons per minute. The Voraxial(R) Separator technology is scaleable and universal in its implementation. Although the Voraxial(R) Separator is applicable to almost any industry separation process, the Company is focusing its near-term efforts in the following vertical markets: oil exploration and production, oil refineries, deckwater drainage, produced water, and mining.
EVTN is continuing to develop and market its Voraxial(R) Separator as stand-alone technology as well as a key component of a turnkey separation system to improve the efficiency of self-contained treatment systems for multiple applications. http://www.evtn.com/
