EVTN Announces a New Purchase Order, Confirming Their Expanding Global Market Presence
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: EVTN) announced today that the Company received a purchase order to deploy a 10,000 barrel per day (BPD) Voraxial(R) 4000 Separator. EVTN's Voraxial(R) Separator is deployed on an offshore oil platform near Trinidad for the important process of a separating the oil/water mixture ("produced water") that is typically produced by all oil wells. The deployment is a result of the recent marketing agreement EVTN signed with Southern Chemical.
Most oil wells produce at least 3 barrels of water for each barrel of oil extracted. EVTN's patented Voraxial(R) Separator is capable of performing this critical process of separating the oil/water mixtures with efficiencies regarding size, weight, energy consumption and expense that can be superior, by orders of magnitude to competitive equipment currently used in the oil industry.
Nowhere is this problem more compelling than on the thousands of offshore oil platforms. The space available on an oil platform represents some of the most expensive real estate in the world. If they try to maintain their level of oil extraction with increasing volumes of water to separate at higher levels of purity, they must add massive equipment to their limited platform space or turn to vastly more efficient separation technology. EVTN believes that the Voraxial(R) Separator represents the most advanced, high volume/high efficiency solution available to the oil industry. Its ability to provide high efficiency separation without any pressure loss allows the Voraxial to be used in multiple applications.
