Civitas Group llc Expands M&A Advisory Services with Addition of Brett Lambert

WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Civitas Group llc, a strategic advisory and investment firm serving the homeland and national security markets, is pleased to announce that Brett Lambert has joined the firm as Managing Director. Lambert brings deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions within the intelligence and defense sectors, expanding the team's advisory capabilities in this field.

During his 17 years with DFI, he was engaged in over 100 acquisitions, international joint ventures, offset arrangements, and foreign equity investments representing a wide variety of both buyers and sellers. As a co-owner of the firm, Lambert assisted in selling DFI to Detica Group PLC, a UK-based firm, in 2007. He has worked on both the buy and sell side for deals as small as $1 million to as much as $26 billion -- all taking advantage of his unique knowledge of the national security industry and those who invest in it.
