Catapult Technology Renews IT Support Services Work for Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA)

Catapult provides IT support services to three PHMSA offices: the Office of Hazardous Materials Safety (OHMS), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS), and Office of Management and Administration (OMA). Services include application and web support, database administration, and systems development and integration for the following systems:
- Hazardous Materials Information System (HMIS), a web-based transactional system that collects and distributes information on hazardous materials spills and on regulatory activities.
- Budget Allocation and Control system (BACS), a web-based internal budget tracking system that provides additional functionality beyond DOT's department-wide financial system.
- Procurement Information System for Management (PRISM), a Commercial-Off- the-Shelf (COTS) package for streamlining PHMSA's procurement process from requisitioning through closeout.
- Online Data Entry and Operator Registration System (ODES), an external facing web application.
