‘The State of the Auto Industry’ at the Detroit Economic Club

DETROIT, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ — The Detroit Economic Club (DEC) is pleased
to host Keith Crain, Chairman, Crain Communications, Inc. on Thursday,
December 11, 2008
. His speech will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be held at the
Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit, Michigan. There will be a News Media Briefing
immediately following the luncheon at 1:30 p.m.

Keith Crain, auto-industry expert and Automotive News publisher and
editor-in-chief, will discuss the dramatic changes affecting America’s
domestic auto industry. His address will take place shortly after the Big
Three presents their request to Congress for a federally-funded $25 billion
emergency loan package.

The Detroit Economic Club was formed in 1934 as a platform for the
discussion and debate of important business, government and social issues. It
