Carey Boethel Joins Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., Security Solutions Business Unit

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., announced today that Carey Boethel has joined the Security Solutions Business Unit as Senior Director, Business Development reporting directly to the Interim Business Unit Head, Bernhard Veitl.

Boethel has more than 15 years of experience in the security industry. He has held various senior leadership positions at NetVersant Solutions, Inc.; Safir Rossetti; Kroll, Inc.; and Schiff & Associates, Inc.

Throughout his career he has gained extensive experience in P&L management, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, strategic planning, business development, and international business focused on Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

At Siemens, Boethel will be responsible for managing the effective implementation of the Business Unit strategies and programs in the field organization. "Carey brings a wealth of security industry experience to Siemens," said Bernhard Veitl, interim Business Unit Head. "He has a proven track record and vast industry knowledge, and he will be a great asset to our team as we significantly expand our presence in the security integration market."

Boethel earned his bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Protection Professional.
