National Nonprofit Keep America Beautiful, Inc. Joins Forces With Earth911.com to Connect Consumers with Local Recycling Information

- New Partnership to Share Information and Resources Connects National Network of Grassroots Organizations with Online Recycling Database -
Through this partnership, Keep America Beautiful will provide access to the extensive Earth911.com national database of local recycling options through its website (kab.org), provide educational content on the Earth911.com website, and connect its affiliate network activities and recycling programs to the Earth911.com database. In turn, both organizations will seek further opportunities that increase consumer access to recycling programs, and help increase the rate of recycling nationwide.

Through the daily efforts of over 1,000 local affiliates and participating organizations providing grassroots support in communities nationwide, Keep America Beautiful programs beautify public spaces, reduce litter and promote recycling through events, activities, and educational programs. Notably, more than one-third of Keep America Beautiful's affiliate leaders serve as the recycling coordinators for their respective counties, cities and towns.
