More Than 300,000 Little Debbie(R) Fans Log On to Vote – and Win $50,000 in Prizes!

COLLEGEDALE, Tenn., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ — NASCAR racing season is over
and so is the Little Debbie Miles of Smiles online campaign. Visitors to
littledebbie.com started voting last summer and cast their final ballots
November 30. With close to 28% of the vote, “Sydney” is the new name for the
koala who is Little Debbie driver Marcos Ambrose’s driving mate. The koala
appears with Ambrose in Little Debbie TV commercials, ads and in-store
displays.

Little Debbie snack fans across the country cast a total of 98,549 votes
for “Sydney”. “Miles” was a close second with 93,656 votes, trailed by “Nigel”
at 66,705, “Toby” at 50,951 and “Trevor” with 32,407.

In the contest, each of the 342,293 participants was asked to watch a
commercial featuring the scene-stealing koala. Along with his partner, #47
Australian driver Marcos Ambrose, the koala mascot asked each site visitor to
choose a name for him, then enter a contest to win more than $50,000 in
prizes.

Close to a thousand prizes will be awarded this month, including five home
theater systems; three race weekends for two including airfare, ground
transportation, accommodations and NASCAR Sprint Cup Race tickets; 10 TiVo
Series 2 digital video recorders; 25 Kodak EasyShare digital cameras; 50 Kodak
EasyShare digital picture frames and 1,000 Little Debbie Boyds Bears Koalas.

With the contest over, visitors to the web site are now greeted by Sydney
who encourages consumers to come back next year when a new contest begins –
at the same moment the green flag drops at the Daytona 500. The race signals
the official start of the 2009 NASCAR racing season and the new Little Debbie
