LAKE ORION, Mich., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ — Efforts to provide food and
warm winter clothes for more than 200 families in the Lake Orion area received
a big boost thanks to the involvement of Palace Chrysler Jeep, a member of the
Chrysler Jeep Superstores.

The Lake Orion-dealer helped organize the Lake Orion’s Lion’s Club annual
charity event to create an all-time high fundraising level of $26,000, enough
to feed more than 200 community families, at an event held last Saturday
(Dec. 13) on the Palace Chrysler Jeep showroom floor. Volunteers are
gathering the food and clothing from area retailers and on Friday, will take
over the Lake Orion High School gym to organize and bundle the packages that
will be delivered to area families Saturday morning in 15 Chrysler Town &
Country minivans provided by Palace Chrysler Jeep.

“Seeing the Lion’s Club volunteers last year working in the high school
gym packing food and clothes for families really moved me to get involved in a
much more dramatic way,” said Brian Milosch, owner and general manager of
Palace Chrysler Jeep. “All of our dealers have a strong history of hometown
community involvement. This event demonstrates that involvement, and the real
impact dealers like us have on Main Street USA every day.

“We know that some people in our community really need that extra hand
that this event provides,” Milosch said. “But we also know that we’re not
unique. Communities across Michigan and the nation are right now struggling
to make ends meet. Auto dealers are a vital part of that hometown community
network working to make sure that we all make it through this challenging time
together. We’re proud to carry on in that important tradition.”

Plans are already being made for a bigger fundraising event at Palace
Chrysler Jeep next year.

“We’re thrilled to have Brian Milosch and his team at Palace Chrysler Jeep
take this event to the next level,” said Rick Howard, a director of the Lake
Orion Lion’s Club. “This was a big year for us. Palace really stepped up to
the bat for us. They really care.”
