Four Seasons Cleaners Joins with Blue Sky Cleaners to Become Nation's Largest Toxin-Free Dry Cleaner

SEATTLE, Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Four Seasons Cleaners today announced that it has merged with Blue Sky Cleaners, making it Seattle's only toxin-free alternative to traditional dry cleaners and the largest such business in the United States.

The combined company now offers five retail locations with 38 employees in Seattle. Existing Four Seasons customers will see no change in their service, whether they use free pick-up and delivery, their neighborhood retail storefront or the Four Seasons Cleaners headquarters.

Four Seasons customers will also be able to use Blue Sky Cleaners' headquarters as a pick-up and delivery location, as well as two new stores opening at the end of December in Capitol Hill and Laurelhurst.

Four Seasons Cleaners has adopted Blue Sky's dry cleaning alternatives of liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) and advanced wet cleaning, proven to safely clean a wide variety of fabrics. Under pressure, CO2 becomes liquid and is the best dry cleaning method on the market, according to leading consumer studies.

Unlike traditional dry cleaning, the CO2 cleaning process is safe on silk, wool, spandex, nylon, duvets, pillows and comforters, and leaves no chemical odor in clothes or chemical residue on skin. In addition, the method produces no toxic waste, pollution or contamination.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Four Seasons brand will change to Blue Sky Cleaners, which purchased the company. Four Seasons Cleaners retail locations, phone number, website as well as free pick-up and delivery routes will remain in effect.
