Crude oil prices rose Tuesday morning on the New York Mercantile Exchange, rising 32 cents to $40.11 per barrel.

Heating oil prices gained 0.0117 cents overnight to $1.3532 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline rose 0.0138 cents to 90 cents per gallon. Natural gas prices 0.065 cents to $5.359 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $1.659 Tuesday, down from Monday's $1.663 a gallon, AAA said.
