Saudi Arabian Airlines Selects the Hamilton Sundstrand APS 3200 Auxiliary Power Unit

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 29 /PRNewswire/ — Saudi Arabian Airlines has selected Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), to install its APS 3200 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) on the airline’s new fleet of 50 Airbus A320 series aircraft.

Hamilton Sundstrand has delivered more than 1,500 APS 3200 APUs to more than 70 airlines for their fleets of Airbus A320 aircraft.

The APS 3200 APU is designed and produced at the Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems facility in San Diego.

Saudi Arabian Airlines, established in 1945 as the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, is based in Jeddah.
