Pioneer Drilling to Present at the Pritchard Capital Partners Energize 2009 Conference

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pioneer Drilling Company, Inc. (NYSE Alternext: PDC) today announced that it will participate in the Pritchard Capital Partners Energize 2009 Conference being held in San Francisco on January 13 through 15, 2009.

Wm. Stacy Locke, President and CEO of Pioneer Drilling, will make a presentation at 11:20 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, January 14. Presentations will not be webcast, but the Company's presentation materials will be available on the Pioneer Drilling Website at www.pioneerdrlg.com. The presentation provides an update on the Company's operations and expectations for 2009.
