Apple’s Jobs takes medical leave
Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs said Wednesday he’s taking time off to deal with his health problems.
Apple Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook will assume Jobs’ duties through June, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Jobs, 53, said his
health-related issues are more complex than originally thought. He had said last week he suffered from a weight-sapping hormone imbalance.
He previously had pancreatic cancer but did not say whether that ailment had returned.
