Sol Inc. Appoints New Vice President of Marketing & Engineering

Audwin Cash brings many years of solid state lighting and lighting controls experience to Sol Inc.

PALM CITY, Fla., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ — Sol Inc. (Solar Outdoor Lighting), the world leader in Solar LED outdoor lighting announced today the appointment of Audwin Cash as its Vice President of Marketing and Engineering, reporting to Sol President and CEO, Rick Schuett.

Mr. Cash brings to Sol many years of lighting industry experience, having previously been associated with Lutron Electronics Co., one of the world’s largest lighting control manufacturers, where he was responsible for developing and promoting energy efficient lighting control products and systems. Mr. Cash has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

He will be a key player of Sol’s growing executive team as the company continues to expand sales in the US and internationally.

The appointment of Cash brings to six the number of executive, sales, marketing, and engineering hires for Sol since the middle of last year, with plans to hire at least as many key people in the next several months.
