ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Engineering Services Network Inc. ESN is an IT and business consulting company, based in Arlington, VA, that specializes in command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) support to the U.S. Navy.

"We are honored and stand always ready to continue our service to the U.S. Navy and to support our men and women in uniform," said Raymond F. Lopez Jr., president and CEO of ESN, a service-disabled, veteran-owned company.

"We are also proud to partner with ITT to provide the expertise and support services critical to the Navy's readiness and mission," said Lopez, who served his country for more than 29 years before retiring from the Navy.

ESN's services include systems optimization, systems evaluation and reengineering and system integration of C4ISR combat and communications systems.

The contract runs through 2013 and calls for a full range of field and systems engineering support services for the U.S. Navy's Fleet Systems Engineering Team (FSET). FSET provides C4ISR support to U.S. Navy afloat Strike Groups and shore-based commands worldwide.

FSET engineers act as the senior technical C4I adviser for the staff of the Carrier Strike Group and Expeditionary Strike Group. The FSET is aboard every aircraft carrier and large deck amphibious assault ship at sea, as well as the Fleet Network Operations Centers, Navy communications area master stations and IT operations centers worldwide.

Services under the contract will support C4ISR systems throughout their entire deployment cycle and will include systems engineering and technical support for rapid introduction of new capabilities to the fleet. Work under the contract will be performed at various locations worldwide.
