GREENWICH, Conn., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Bang & Olufsen, the worldwide manufacturer of exclusive, high-end audio and video products, together with Symphonia, a Connecticut-based consumer electronics company, announce the arrival of Bang & Olufsen's newest showroom in Greenwich. The 1400 square-foot, completely new Greenwich showroom features the full Bang & Olufsen product line, including its highly-anticipated new audio system, the BeoSound 5. Dubbed as "the modern-day jukebox", BeoSound 5 is a digital system with an intuitive edge and supreme user convenience. It automatically customizes playlists according to each user's genre selection through the patented MOTS (more of the same) technology -- an award-winning concept used to create an intelligent algorithm which automatically captures the unique musical identity of a track and then builds upon a playlist of similar music. Additionally, this audio master can encompass one's entire CD collection and beyond, making for endless musical possibilities. BeoSound 5 also delivers impeccable sound performance as it supports lossless music and brings the listener closer to the quality of the original recording, an element often lost in today's digital music files.

"Bang & Olufsen has long since been a purveyor of creating unparalleled, high quality, audio and video systems that are a pleasure to experience," said Zean Nielsen, President of Bang & Olufsen America, Inc. "We are proud to further expand the company's tradition of excellence in design and technology and excited to provide the utmost in home entertainment needs to the Greenwich area."

"With a tenure of over 15 years in home integration, we know what it takes to provide the ultimate customer experience and look forward to launching our business in the Greenwich area with this state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen showroom," said Oliver Pennington, Co-owner of Bang & Olufsen Greenwich showroom, and also owner of the successful Bang & Olufsen Newbury Street in Boston. "We found a tremendous opportunity for a consumer electronics and custom installation presence in the Greenwich market, and are thrilled to raise the bar in providing the utmost in home entertainment needs."

The Greenwich showroom also showcases the world renowned BeoLiving concept -- Bang & Olufsen's solution to providing customized audio and video products that can connect lighting, draperies, and various environmental control modules to suit each customer's lifestyle all with the touch of one remote control. The BeoLiving room allows for a sleek, modern setup to maximize the experience, making it an ideal area for meeting with clients and prospects to demonstrate the full capabilities of Bang & Olufsen's integrated systems.

Additionally, the showroom will be the first in the U.S. to present the BeoSound DBS audio system in the new Aston Martin DBS. Exclusively for the evening of the Bang & Olufsen Greenwich grand opening event on February 11th, the Aston Martin DBS will be on-site for demonstrations of the audio system custom engineered by Bang & Olufsen and a standard inclusion on all Aston Martin DBS models.
