NSL Engineering and VeriTainer Introduce the RAM VeriSpreader

State-of-the-Art RAM Separating Twin Twenty VeriSpreader will revolutionize transshipped and 'ship to rail' radiation scanning of maritime containers

SINGAPORE and SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- NSL Engineering Pte. Ltd., one of the world's leading spreader bar manufacturers, and VeriTainer Corporation, the world leader in crane mounted maritime security solutions, are on schedule to complete manufacturing of the first RAM VeriSpreader by Q2 2009. The RAM VeriSpreader will enjoy the same world class innovation, engineering and reliability for which both companies are known.

Through this collaboration, NSL Engineering will manufacture VeriSpreaders(TM) which will include VeriTainer's proprietary shock absorption system and will run on VeriTainer MINDS, VeriTainer's exclusive software suite featuring the MINDS isotope identification software algorithm. Over time, NSL Engineering and VeriTainer will also embed the SVCI (synchronous vibrational cargo imaging) technology developed by Erudite Systems which allows for non-ionizing Non-Intrusive Imaging (NII) of cargo containers to determine the presence of shielding of nuclear and radiological material.
