Casey Hare Joins SpectraFluidics Inc.

In his new role, Hare will serve as the Company’s system architect. He
will expand the Company’s ability to deliver reliable and robust chemical
detection to the market. In addition, he brings manufacturing and product
development experience to the SpectraFluidics technical team.
SpectraFluidics is a partner with the U.S. Army and the
California, Santa Barbara
advanced, field-deployable chemical sensor for explosives and contraband
detection.

Hare graduated from UCSB with bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Mechanical
Engineering. He also holds a master’s in Mechanical Engineering from

For the past two and a half years, Hare headed Casey Hare Design
Consulting, specializing in systems, instrumentation and automation. His
projects spanned physics, applications science, mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering and software.
He has also served as an instructor at UCSB since 2004.
Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Hare was founder of Multiprobe
Inc., a nanotechnology company delivering failure analysis tools to the
semiconductor industry. Among his many accomplishments, Hare designed the
Atomic Force Probe (AFP) and built the Multiprobe engineering and
manufacturing team.
