NASA to host small business conference
The U.S. space agency says it will host a two-day, high-tech conference focusing on subcontracting and marketing opportunities for small businesses.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration 's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., will host the 21st Annual High-Tech Conference for Small Business on March 3-4 at the Westin Los Angeles Airport hotel.
The conference is designed to assist small, minority-owned, women-owned and veteran-owned businesses in high-tech industries, NASA said. Participants will have the chance to meet with some 250 corporate, federal, state and city government representatives to discuss potential contracting and subcontracting opportunities. Participating agencies include NASA centers, the U.S. Department of Defense, the Boeing Co. and the Lockheed Martin Corp.
A registration fee of $140 per person, due by Feb. 6, includes networking receptions, some meals and program materials.
