Disney toy tool sets recalled
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Disney Store USA tool sets due to a choking hazard.
The tools in the set include faces with eyes that can detach, posing a hazard to young children, the commission said.
About 20,000 of the tool sets, imported from China by Disney Store USA LLC of Pasadena, Calif., were sold at Disney stores nationwide between October 2007 and January 2009 for about $15.
The sets were sold as
Handy Manny tool kits with a plastic hammer, saw, pliers, wrench, tape measure and screwdrivers.
Consumers were advised to take the toys from children and return them to Disney Store for a full refund.
