Jetboil outdoor stoves recalled
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Jetboil Inc. outdoor stoves due to a burn hazard.
The Personal Cooking Systems and Group Cooking Systems stoves include a valve that can leak, posing a fire and burn hazard, the commission said.
About 15,000 of the stoves made in the United States for Jetboil Inc. of Manchester, N.H., were sold nationwide from July 2008 through November 2008 for between $100 and $130.
The recall involved various models of the stoves, which are primarily used for outdoor camping.
Consumers were advised to stop using the stoves and contact Jetboil for a repair or a replacement.
