Beers + Cutler Professionals Appointed to Lead Local Organizations

TYSONS CORNER, Va., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ — Accounting and consulting firm Beers + Cutler congratulates Tina Barchik, Matt Hallam, and Kelly Toole for their appointments to executive positions with the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance (NVTA), Northern Virginia chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) respectively.

Tina Barchik, a director with Beers + Cutler, has been appointed treasurer of the NVTA. NVTA is a business and citizen group advocating the funding and construction of major transportation projects across the region. The group was founded in 1987 as Northern Virginia first began experiencing major growth.

Barchik has more than 20 years of accounting experience. At Beers + Cutler, she serves the real estate industry by providing financial statement audits and advising clients on their business needs.

Beers + Cutler partner Matt Hallam is the new treasurer for the Northern Virginia chapter of the NAIOP. NAIOP is a nonprofit membership organization that represents the interests of developers and owners of industrial, office and related commercial real estate. The Northern Virginia chapter has over 800 individual members, making it one of the largest NAIOP chapters in the country.

Hallam, who has been with Tysons Corner-based Beers + Cutler for more than 15 years, works with large real estate companies that develop, own and manage their portfolios. Hallam is also the founder of Beers + Cutler’s Real Estate CFO Roundtable, which brings together local CFOs quarterly to discuss issues impacting the industry.

Partner Kelly Toole has been elected treasurer of the DCBIA, a membership association that represents both the commercial and residential real estate industries and promotes real estate development as an engine of economic growth and prosperity in the nation’s capital.

As lead partner of Tysons Corner-based Beers + Cutler’s real estate group, Toole, who has been with the firm for more than 20 years, provides tax and accounting services to real estate developers, private equity firms and construction contractors.
