Sikorsky Aircraft Honors the Los Angeles County Fire Department for Distinguished Service with FIREHAWK(R) Helicopter

ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In an event at Heli-Expo today, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. recognized the Los Angeles County Fire Department for its heroic efforts during the 2008 Southern California wildfires and Metrolink train crash while using the Sikorsky FIREHAWK(R) helicopter. Sergei Sikorsky, son of company founder Igor Sikorsky, presented Los Angeles Country Fire Department officials with an award in recognition and appreciation of their department's efforts to save lives and protect the property of California residents.
