Sikorsky Global Helicopters Delivers S-300CBi(TM) Helicopter

ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Sikorsky Global Helicopters, the newly re-branded commercial programs group of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., and AirVenture Flight Center today at Heli Expo conducted a ceremonial delivery of Serial #0352, a S-300CBi(TM) model helicopter. Sikorsky Aircraft is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The aircraft, displayed in Sikorsky booth 1740, will mark the first helicopter for AirVenture Flight Center to begin its helicopter training fleet.

Ken Hammerton, owner of AirVenture Flight Center, was present at the ceremony and joined Horton in a toast to the partnership.

AirVenture, located in Olive Branch, Miss., operates a fixed-wing flight school with a fleet including a Cessna 172SP, a Beech Duchess, and a Piper Arrow. It is one of the top flight training centers in the mid-South. AirVenture also offers a variety of other services including air charter, aircraft rental, and a full line of interactive flight training kits and other training supplies.

The S-300CBi(TM) helicopter operates throughout the world primarily as a training helicopter, renowned for its excellent flight characteristics, impressive safety record, and extremely competitive operating costs.
