Date Change for Petroleum Development Corporation's Upcoming Analyst Day; New Date, Thursday, March 19, 2009

DENVER, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Petroleum Development Corporation (Nasdaq: PETD) today announced Thursday, March 19, 2009 as the new date of its upcoming analyst day conference. The Company will host the conference for equity analysts and institutional investors. This is a date change only from the original date.

The Company's third annual analyst day, scheduled to be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York, will include:

• 2008 year-end review
• 2009 focus ~ areas of concentration
• Discussion of key operating areas
