Great Park Conservancy Donates 5,000 Citrus Trees

The 5,000 Valencia Olinda Citrus Trees are all approximately two and a half years old, and 18 inches to 20 inches in height. The trees will be placed in a temporary tree holding nursery located at the southwest corner of the Great Park, near Marine Way. The trees can be maintained within their original fifteen gallon containers for up to three years. At the end of the three years, they will be moved to permanent, in-ground locations for use in the Orange County Great Park. The trees will reach maturity within a year and a half after being planted.
