Graham & Dunn Attorneys Maren Gaylor and Elaine Spencer Designated as LEED Accredited Professionals by U.S. Green Building Council
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. “Green building certification is likely to be as important to 21st Century development as zoning and building codes were to 20th Century development. We want to be able to help clients navigate that process as it becomes the new standard,” said Ms. Spencer.
Ms. Gaylor added, “As most public buildings are now required to achieve LEED certification and many private building owners seek increased sustainability, many of our clients need to have their entire team be knowledgeable about the requirements for LEED certification.”
“At Graham & Dunn, we continually assess the most current needs of our clients and their businesses. With the addition of LEED AP designation for two of our shareholders, we are pleased to be among a select group of law firms nationwide who offer this service to clients who design, develop and own buildings that meet the highest standards of sustainability,” said
